Outdoor Business Workshop offered for March 2

Summary

On March 2, an Outdoor Business Workshop will be offered in Ashland, Mississippi.

Have you thought about earning  supplemental income from your property through an outdoor business?  You can learn about different outdoor businesses and the pros and cons of each. You can also gain information on legal considerations for starting such a business.

The Natural Resource Enterprises department from Mississippi State University will be hosting an Outdoor Business Workshop for Landowners on Plum Creek Farm in Ashland, Mississippi on Thursday, March 2. 

The schedule for the workshop includes presentations on opportunities on your land, legal considerations, horse trail riding, wildlife habitat management practices, marketing your enterprise and enrolling your forests for carbon credits.

There is a $10. 00 registration fee and registration will close on Tuesday, February 28.  Lunch will be provided.  To register online visit: https://www.naturalresources.msstate.edu/media/training.  Click on the Events tab.  For help registering call 662.325.3133.
