Enjoy South Delta Public Lands during Hunting Season

It’s that time when the population of Mississippi’s South Delta swells with folks in camouflage!  As deer and duck seasons kick off, visitors to the South Delta become plentiful, and we appreciate each and every one.  The South Delta is blessed with natural areas, both private and public.  As you enjoy these lands, make sure you are legal and have any permits or licenses required.  LDP’s brochure, Mississippi’s South Delta Public Lands, lists any license requirements, permits and fees necessary for each public land.  These brochures are available at Welcome and Visitors centers as well as at the USFS and USFWS offices in the South Delta.

We hope you visit Mississippi’s South Delta this year; enjoy the hunting, stop, shop and eat locally, and don’t forget to pick up any trash you generate while here!
