Hunt the South Delta’s Public Lands

December 5, 2016

Hunting season is upon us in the South Delta and with it comes an influx of camouflage. No matter where you stop, Chucks Dairy Bar, the Onward Store, Stop & Shop, you see lots of folks in camouflage, and that’s great! We appreciate the boost to our economy that hunting season brings. So, where are you hunting this year?  We want to invite you to take advantage of the many public lands in the South Delta.  Each of these lands does come with its own set of rules and regulations for hunters but to help with that LDP created a brochure and web page that details most of the regulations and fees.  Please pick up a brochure at the Rolling Fork Visitors Center or at one of the public lands office, or visit our site, https://lowerdelta.org/mississippis-south-delta-public-lands/.  Enjoy your visit and happy hunting!
