Strymon melinus
Gray hairstreaks inside wings are much darker than the light gray exterior, but the orange spots are still visible.
Butterfly Size: 7/8 – 1 3/8 inches
Habitats: Open, nonforested sites; common in disturbed, weedy areas.

Nectar from many flower species including:

- white sweet clover
