Mississippi’s Lower Delta Partnership is a diverse group of individuals, state and federal agencies and non-governmental organizations who are sensitive to the area’s rich cultural history and who share a common vision of improving quality of life for its citizens as well as for conserving the natural environment of the area.
- Promote businesses, tourism, and outdoor recreational opportunities in the Lower Mississippi Delta region to residents and out-of-town visitors in digital and print media, through participation in events, and via partnerships with other organizations.
- Provide outreach and educational opportunities regarding the development of natural resource asset-based tourism and other businesses and stewardship of those natural resources through partnerships with other organizations.
- Support the environmental and economic health of the Mississippi’s Lower Delta through participation in regional and state-level organizations.
